Actif sur la scène artistique internationale depuis plus de vingt ans, Stefan De Jaeger conseille de nombreux collectionneurs d'art moderne et contemporain. Plus spécifiquement, il participe à la constitution et à l'enrichissement de plusieurs collections privées de photographie.


Fondateur de la revue Clichés en 1983, Alain D'Hooghe a conçu et organisé de nombreuses expositions, tant en Belgique qu'à l'étranger, et est l'auteur de plusieurs ouvrages consacrés à la photographie et ses aspects les plus divers. En 2001, il a été nommé conseiller artistique de la Fondation CCF pour la Photographie (Paris).


Depuis octobre 2004, ils se sont associés pour diriger la box galerie, un espace voué à l'image fixe où ils organisent cinq expositions par saison et proposent leurs choix de photographies historiques, modernes et contemporaines.


Située dans un quartier dynamique d'Ixelles, la box galerie est installée dans l'arrière-bâtiment d'un immeuble conçu par les architectes Gatti & Washer.
Dans un espace de plus de 100 m2 inondé de lumière grâce à de grandes baies vitrées, la galerie dispose de près de 50 mètres utiles de cimaises.
